Prompt 1: Name a way to prepare potatoes
First hint
Think of a named potato dish rather than a generic cooking method.

The first word is Pommes; the second starts with souffl-.

Reading this prompt. This prompt accepts both broad preparations and named dishes. The dated rosters place baked potato and French fries at 10 points, while Aloo gobi is worth 60. Pommes soufflées is the recorded 100-point pick. Copy the complete dish name; a shorter description may match a different entry.
Prompt 2: Name an animal whose name is exactly four letters long
First hint
Count the letters in the animal name itself.
Second hint
The recorded gem has two syllables and starts with M.
Last hint
Its four letters follow the pattern M-A-R-_.

Reading this prompt. The four-letter restriction applies to the answer name, not to a description of the animal. Bear, deer and frog are accepted low-tier options in this dated sheet. Mara is recorded at 100 points. Adding a qualifier changes the name length, so use the exact listed answer rather than a longer species description.
Prompt 3: Name someone who’s won MVP (NBA/NFL/MLB), Premier League Player of the Season, or won the Ballon d’Or
First hint
You can choose a winner from any of the sports named in the prompt.
Second hint
One recorded gem is a baseball player with a short first name.
Last hint
His first name is Jim and his surname begins Kon-.

Reading this prompt. The prompt combines several award lists, so it is broader than an NBA-only question. The archived sheet includes Jim Konstanty and Mark Moseley at 100 points each. Names and awards still need to match the wording; a celebrated athlete is not automatically an accepted winner for this particular question.
Prompt 4: Name a chemical element whose symbol is one letter
First hint
Write the element's name, but check the length of its symbol.
Second hint
The recorded top answer has the one-letter symbol Y.
Last hint
The element name starts Yttr- and ends -ium.

Reading this prompt. This question asks for an element whose symbol has one letter, not an element with a one-letter name. Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen are accepted at 10 points. Tungsten and vanadium are worth 85, and yttrium is worth 100. The preserved answer list has no entries in the Too Clever band.
Prompt 5: Name a type of station (like a train station)
First hint
The example is a starting point, not a restriction to transport.
Second hint
The recorded gem is a two-word expression ending in station.
Last hint
Its first word is also a word for a spirit or apparition.

Reading this prompt. The accepted station names span transport, services, communications and other uses. Train station and fire station are low-tier entries in the dated sheet, while Ghost station is the 100-point answer. Keep the whole expression: the category word station alone does not identify the same saved entry.
Prompt 6: Name a country whose name ends in the letter E
First hint
Look at the final letter of the complete country name.
Second hint
The recorded gem has a longer name with two accented words.
Last hint
It begins São Tomé and ends Príncipe.

Reading this prompt. This sheet records the country names exactly as accepted for this prompt. Chile, France and Greece are 10-point choices. São Tomé and Príncipe is the 100-point entry. Country-name variants matter here: changing to a different spelling can also change the final letter, so the displayed form is the safest reference.
Prompt 7: Name a superhero team
First hint
Think of a team name rather than an individual superhero.
Second hint
The recorded gem is a specific Avengers team.
Last hint
Its name adds a two-word North American geographic region before Avengers.

Reading this prompt. The saved list includes teams from several fictional settings rather than just one franchise. Avengers, Fantastic Four and Justice League sit at 10 points, while Great Lakes Avengers is the recorded gem. The added words are part of the accepted team name; dropping them selects a different entry and score.
How to read this page
Tiers run from 1 to 6, and the colour of each band deepens with them. Tier 1 holds the answers most players reach for first; they are valid, but they barely move you. Each row further down is an answer fewer players would usually think of, and tier 6 contains the designated gem answers for that prompt. More than one answer may share the top score. The points shown in each band come from the dated sources checked for October 17, 2026. An empty band means those source lists contain no entries at that tier; it is not an invitation to guess a missing answer.
An answer missing from a table may still be accepted. Prompts often have a long list of valid answers, so we show a representative set for each tier rather than every possible entry. Spelling does not need to be perfect either: the game checks guesses against known alternative names and forgives small typos. Read more about matching in the Krillion wiki.
Getting more out of these answers
Comparing your own answers with the tables is the quickest way to improve. For each prompt, find the tier your answer landed in and look one row deeper. The deeper answers usually share a pattern: a narrower subtype, a historical or regional name, or something well known in one field and unfamiliar everywhere else. Spotting that pattern pays off on future prompts even though the prompts themselves change every day. The scoring guide shows how much a single tier jump is worth over a full dive.
Editor’s note
Prompts, selected answer spellings and tiers were cross-checked between two dated public archives; the game’s historical reveal is not publicly accessible. This page shows a selection of accepted answers, not the complete roster. Empty tiers have no entries in the checked source lists. Hints and explanatory notes are original editorial additions, separate from the game’s answers.
